From the deep recesses of the internet: Big Trousers, the brand new two-piece bringing their genre-defining post-post-punk sound to the (sc)rolling masses. The pair use their growing platform to shine a light on the societal issues facing today’s youth, such as discount clothing stores’ (alleged) insidious tax practices, big oil’s transport monopoly, and the deep existential dread developed through overexposure to deeply satirical internet content.

Big Trousers consists of vocalist/drummer Harry Greeves and guitarist Jack Guy; the Portsmouth-based duo spent the second half of 2023 concocting heavy riffs and vocal fry in secret. With debut single “TK MAXX SONG”, the release surprised audiences with bizarre yet introspective lyrics and enormous fuzzy guitar chops.

Known for their a-typical set up and hectic live shows, Big Trousers are rolling out studio material and gigging around the UK to make their debut year unforgettable. With follow-up singles “ME AND MY MASSIVE LIMESTONE CUBE” and “NO WORRIES IF NOT” releasing this summer, Big Trousers first EP (due autumn 2024)  is shaping up to be the punk anthem no one saw coming.

Since their debut release, they’ve already captured the attention of the industry, playing at iconic venues such as the Windmill (Brixton) and supporting the likes of punk acts Heavy Lungs (from Bristol), Alien Chicks (Brixton) and blues rockers The Family Rain (Bath) to accompany their numerous sell-out headline shows (100 pax venues) across the south coast. Time and time again, the boys have proven their ability to captivate audiences and leave a lasting impression.

As they continue to push boundaries and challenge conventions, Big Trousers stands poised to leave an indelible mark on the punk scene, offering both raw, energetic riffs and social commentary in equal measure. Keep an eye on this duo as they navigate their debut year with passion, purpose, and unapologetic intensity.

For fans of: Soft Play (FKA Slaves), Do Nothing, IDLES, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Yard Act,

Supporting them on the night will be:

Lugnut

Lugnut are a psychedelic rock group, notorious for their cosmic moves and outrageous grooves. fishmen, journalism, novelty hats and ancient egypt are just a selection of topics they cover in their eclectic discography, backed by tri-tone horrors and grooves that will make your face recoil in disgust, they’re an act you don’t want to miss. ♫♪♪

Dahlia’s Comet

Dahlia’s Comet are a three piece band based in Hampshire/ Surrey. Our music consists of the sound of 80s prog rock and the underlying influences of shoegaze, alongside the combined forces of a male and female vocal to express our cosmic conception.

Adders

Adders is a 4 piece modern rock band with members from both Newbury and Swindon. A shared passion for bands such as Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, Frank Carter & Foo Fighters brought these boys together on their quest to put their own mark on rock and roll.
Catchy riffs and melodic vocal hooks pull the band together on their first 2 singles “Bones” and “Vulnerability” both of which are available on all streaming services. Whilst fairly new on the live circuit, they’re beginning to garner a reputation for their energetic live shows that leave the audience wanting more.  ♫♪♪
