High-energy, Winchester-based rock band with an emphasis on fun. Hornblower Down refuses to be restricted by simple genre definitions. A melting-pot of musical creativity, with all four members – Claire Rose, Marcus Whitfield, ‘Skip’ Bartlett and Jim Glaister – contributing to the songwriting and arrangements, so the sound of the band keeps evolving. The band’s repertoire includes a range of different musical styles – from rock to pop, punk to funk, new wave to rap, via a bit of reggae – sometimes in the same song! Only one thing is certain: see them live and you’ll have a good time! ♫♪♪

Supporting on the night will be

Foreign Haze

Since a winter break in early 2025, Foreign Haze have come back with a new sound and vision. Combing emotive songwriting, textural ambience and classic grunge/garage rock, their set is definitely one to see.

Torpedoes

Torpedoes bring their own unique take on post-punk/goth.  Uncompromising shredding guitars, insistent rhythm section and sweeping, glacial keyboards.  If you’re a lover of bands like The Cure, Bauhaus, The Damned and Muse then you’re in the right room!  “probably the last great gothic rock band” – Louder Than War. ♫♪♪

DSB

DSB are a four piece outfit playing original melodic songs, with retro guitars pulling in sounds from roots, rock, folk and blues.
They came back in 2023, after a lock down induced hiatus, with a new sound, new songs and a new band member. Previously they have played with artists such as Dan Patlansky, The Cold Stares and award winning guitarist Ben Poole on their European tours.
Previously known as Dan Sowerby Band, to mark the change in personnel and direction, they are now performing exclusively under the moniker DSB.
On stage the songs build with feeling and dynamics to create an impressive live show. ♫♪♪
