Stevie Simkin’s poetic, melodic songs, driven by his distinctive fingerpicking style and Dan Conroy’s fluid, lyrical violin, breach divisions between folk and country, acoustic singer-songwriter and guitar-driven rock. 30th October is the album’s release date for streaming platforms but CDs (including download codes) will be available on the night, five days before the streaming release. A premium-priced ticket entitles you to a free copy from the merch table, giving you £3 off the full price of the gatefold CD and its 12-page booklet!
Support comes from popular local band The Ben Poore Project, a folk-rock leaning collective built around the songs and stories of Southampton-based Singer-Songwriter Ben Poore: acoustic guitars, storytelling lyrics, and arrangements that leave room for the audience to step into songs about the things most of us quietly carry: lost friendships, late-night doubts, breakups that shouldn’t have hurt but did, tiny victories that mattered more than we admitted, and the kind of messy joy you only notice when you look back.
