Starting her career as a DIY street busker, and now signed to Ani DiFranco’s Righteous Babe records in the USA, distinguished British artist and ‘original folk voice’, Ruth Theodore has been steadily releasing critically acclaimed records for over a decade. An experienced stage performer, Theodore playfully pushes the boundaries of gender and genre with a sense of joyful rebellion, a touch of 1920’s vaudeville theatre and a healthy dose of punk rock attitude. Theodore delivers song after song with the relentless lyrical energy of a San-Fran beat poet, holding your attention for every second of the show.

Joining on stage will be award winning Zimbabwean bassist and vocalist, Edith WeUtonga; Calum Prior on virtuoso keys and soundscapes, and the jazz & latin influenced beats of Al Banerjee on drums. Together on stage, the band are obviously loving, and living it. ♫♪♪
