This reunion is about reconnecting with old friends, old songs, and the spirit of a scene that refuses to fade. Longtime fans can relive the moments that first hooked them, while newcomers get the chance to see a band with real history and attitude up close. With a setlist packed with Bullycats favourites, this show is shaping up to be a loud, sweaty celebration of where it all began. Get there early.
Formed in Winchester in 2002, The Bullycats came together through a shared love of blues, country rock, and rich four-part harmonies. Steve on vocals, Ben on drums, Dan on bass, and guitarists Steeny and Alex quickly built a sound that was both rootsy and raucous — equal parts tight musicianship and loose, foot-stomping energy.
The Bullycats soon found themselves playing stages across the UK, building loyal followings in London, Bristol, Brighton, and especially their hometown of Winchester. Their live shows became the stuff of legend as word spread about performances that were energetic, unpredictable, and gloriously chaotic.
In 2005, bass player and vocal powerhouse Dan Everett left to pursue new adventures. The band regrouped with Jerome Cross, whose arrival pushed their sound into a new gear — faster, louder, and wilder.
But the ride was intense and short-lived. In 2007, The Bullycats imploded, splitting into two new projects: Polly and The Billet Doux and The Black Lodge Band. It seemed the story was over.
Then in 2012, all six members reunited on stage to mark ten years since it all began — a one-off celebration many believed would never be repeated.
Until now.
To celebrate twenty years since their formation, The Bullycats are getting back together. Same spirit. Same songs. Same chaos.
Some stories deserve another chapter. ♫♪♪
