Music is more than the silence between the notes and the melody. It is a catalyst to many of life’s processes and leaves the listener with more than before it was heard.

These are some of the reasons why Stone Jets, made up of Given and Manfred come together time and time again to create and share music.

London based since 2019, the band has supported James Morrison, SugaBabes and Jazz Trumpeter, Hugh Masekela. Given (Bass, Singer) and Manfred (Guitar) hail from Cape Town South Africa.

Stone Jets makes music that is soul-centric and puffed with pop sensibilities. Their multi-genre approach is a depiction of the bands’ influences which ranges from Classical Music – German Lieder to be specific, to Alternative Rock, Folk and Blues music. The artistry of Sam Cooke, Jimi Hendrix and Bon Iver serves as inspiration.

Notable performances include, Glastonbury, EFG London Jazz Fest, Big Feastival, Black Deer Festival and Wilderness amongst others.

As the 2024 Yamaha Music London Ambassadors, they have worked hard to get to this point where England feels like home – as evident by the increasing number of local fans who know their young but growing discography of two (2) extended plays (What I SayMemory) and their latest live offering ‘Live in West Hempstead’ released in 2022.

Working with music producer Brett Shaw, Stone Jets released new music to herald the beginning of a new sound, a new journey and a new attitude in 2024.

At the heart of it all, Stone Jets live for live performances. An active band that holds nothing back and leaves it all on the stage and uses every show as an opportunity to create something special. With a work ethic like that, the proof is in attending a show, which is likely happening near you soon. ♫♪♪

Supporting on the night will be

Ben Poore

Southampton singer-songwriter Ben Poore, performing as The Ben Poore Project, builds his solo folk-rock sets on honest storytelling, warm acoustic textures, and songs that feel lived-in from the first note. Blending indie folk and folk-rock influences, his original material explores the quiet moments we all recognise, late-night doubts, small victories, lost connections, and the messy joy of figuring life out as you go. Delivered with one voice and one guitar, this intimate, original-only live set creates a shared atmosphere that draws audiences in and leaves rooms feeling closer than they were at the start. ♫♪♪

Lyla Skyrim

Lyla Skyrim is a singer songwriter from Winchester, Hampshire, who has been writing songs since childhood. Drawing influence from several genres across just as many periods, Lyla’s over-arching emo style is punctuated with new romantic & gothic undertones – channelling flavours such as My Chemical Romance or The Cure into poignant and haunting melodies. ♫♪♪
