Will Cook is a songwriter who draws on influences like David Bowie and Kate Bush to deliver synth lead tracks that show off his raw and honest creativity. In this performance, he shows off his recent venture into songwriting combining live looping and pre-recorded tracks mixed with live performance. Will’s songs access a vulnerability that often can’t put into words.
Supporting Will on the night will be
Waiting For Alfie
James Gardener
Full time trumpet player and teacher, part time singer songwriter from the south coast. James listens to a lot of Elliott Smith, Adrianne Lenker, Ben Howard, Sufjan Stevens, Billie Marten, and Nick Drake. He tries to write like them too. Sometimes it works.
Prom Night
We’re prom night, a six-piece indie pop rock band from Winchester, influenced by Beabadoobee and the Arctic Monkeys. Our favourite venue to perform in is the Railway Inn and we can’t wait to be back there to perform again soon! We’re currently working on our first original music which we’re excited to share!
Burnt Flowers Fallen
Oliver Jones transforms the intense alternative rock releases of Burnt Flowers Fallen into intimate acoustic performances. Burnt Flowers Fallen channels life’s struggles through the context of raw and emotional songs, translating studio volume into fragile storytelling. Begun in 2024, the project is Oliver’s outlet to the world, exploring how he is able to shape personal experience into music. Ever since his most recent release, Into The Flame, Oliver continues to rehape how these experiences sound both live and on the record.
