We are thrilled to introduce Touring Gigs UK, kicking off our first Tour at the iconic Railway Inn Winchester, on 4th May.

Touring Gigs UK is our bright idea to create a UK hot map of community led music showcases, gigs and events that bring exceptional touring artists to all parts of the UK, performing to new and engaged audiences. ALL promoters and venues on this first tour of the South of England sit in the heart of their communities and are dedicated to support and contribute to the grassroots music scene in their own way.
The brilliant fast rising Southampton based blues rock artist Laurence Henderson and his band and Portsmouth based alt rock Fast Trains (acoustic set) will be joined by our two brilliant and established UK touring artists: Freshy launched for this tour, introducing a new collective project from Si Connelly – H is for Hawk, and lush indie-amerciana acoustic rock artist Foxpalmer.
Laurence Henderson

Laurence Henderson carries the flame for classic, guitar-driven blues-rock. The son of an Orchestral Double Bassist and a Violin Teacher, Laurence was honing his musical skills from birth and would go on to discover the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Beck, Led Zeppelin, Eric Johnson and Sting.  In 2016 Laurence had graduated from University and set about starting his journey as a professional musician. In August of the same year he released his cover of Eric Johnson’s legendary ‘Cliffs of Dover’ gaining well over 1 million views whilst receiving critical acclaim across the globe.

Having been a hired session musician for the likes of Arielle on her UK tour, Laurence is now bringing his own music to the world with his own modern twist on classic blues, country and rock. This is showcased by early releases such as ‘Strings’, ‘I Won’t Wait’ and the upcoming ‘Where I Belong’.

After opening for Kris Barras, Laurence sold out his first headline show in Southampton which in turn has lead to endorsement deals from effect pedal companies: Wampler & Strymon. Laurence continues to produce a gripping show in order to expand and grow his audience both in the UK and Worldwide.

Fast Trains

Combining inventive alt pop with a cryptic visual space known as ‘ourWorld’, Fast Trains is the boundary-pushing solo project of Portsmouth born songwriter Tom Wells.  Putting a modern take on alternative icons like XTC, Radiohead and Talk Talk, their string of self-produced, self-released EPs has led to national songwriting awards, rousing festival performances, support tours with the likes of Turin Brakes, and a wealth of UK radio play from BBC 6 Music, Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing.

“Rich and beautifully produced.” — Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6 Music

“Absolutely superb.” — Charlie Ashcroft, Amazing Radio

“Inventively melodic, harmonically clever, sparkling and invigorating.” — Neil March, Trust the Doc

This uniquely raw and original live artist has released a staggering 12 EPs in 2022,  3 studio albums in 2023, and has a further two penned for 2025.   Si Connelly has continued this prolific assent since 2016’s debut album ‘Youth War & Joy’.With tour supports with Ocean Colour Scene, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Toploader, Skippinish, Bob Mould and Love. Si caught the eye of Brit-Award-winning Producer Chris Potter (The Verve, Blur, The Rolling Stones) and Grammy-Award winning Producer Dom Morley (Adele, Amy Winehouse) to help create his debut album for free. The albums lead track ‘Hurt You’ featured on hit ITV drama Monroe, and was also picked up by Coldplay, who backed Si’s scintillating vocal performance. Hurt You peaked at 19 on the UK iTunes chart, and the album went on to receive radio and television placement in many territories, including Radio 2 airplay and encouragement from Jonathon Ross in the UK.
