The Rattlebacks – Debut Album ‘Sidewinder’ Tour LIVE at The Railway, Winchester
Formed in 2021 and hailing from Brighton, England, the unrelenting quintet are stuffed to the gills with passion, belief, and seemingly boundless ability. Built around the towering rhythm section of Seth Markes (drums) and Jack ‘The Hell’ Hollamby (bass), as well as the guitar slinging duo of Coxy (rhythm guitar) and Max Horn (lead guitar) who have known each other since birth, and the impressive pipework of Josh Clarke.
The blazing quintet have a staunch passion to deliver hard rock music to a new generation. Tilting their hat to grunge and classic hard rock, whilst integrating modern sensibilities, THE RATTLEBACKS are not a band rehashing a pale imitation of a past incarnation, they proudly stand alone in their own capabilities and are an absolute force of swaggering nature.
The fiery five-piece are now braced to raise the stakes even higher with the release of their breathtaking debut album, Sidewinder. The band remark about the record: “This debut album has been a lifetime in the making, made with the soul intention of reinvigorating the hard rock genre. These fans don’t want rehashed versions of what has been before, they want a band forging their own path and this is the first taste of us doing just that. Hard rock fans have deserved better for far too long, and we believe we’ve delivered the record that fans of the genre have been missing for decades.” ♫♪♪
In support on the night will be:
Badmouth
Hard rocking riff merchants Badmouth are certainly living up to their reputation as a “loud band”. After reforming in 2021, Badmouth have been tearing up venues all across the UK with raucous performances of their self titled album recorded live at Abbey Road Studios in just 4 hours.
A full fat blend of iconic riff driven 70s rock fused with the skull crushing heaviness of modern alternative rock, Badmouth are dead set on taking their wall of sound to the masses. Their highly sought after and energetic live performances and iconic stage presence leaves a trail of destruction in their wake.
With a slot on the Isle of Wight Festival Kashmir stage, a second UK tour and multiple UK headline shows in the summer as well as the highly anticipated release of their crowd favourite song “Don’t Ask” It’s safe to say Badmouth are set for their biggest year yet. ♫♪♪
